What’s Cooking at Boca?
Located downtown on Main Street in Sarasota, the Boca farm-to-table experience is a foodie’s dream and only features local farmers on their menu. The brunch menu may overwhelm you at first, but whatever you do, get some donut holes. If you show up hungry enough, I encourage you to order a starter and at least one main course. Going classic is always a great route, and it’ll be better at a place like Boca than your average greasy spoon. If that is your go-to move, then The Old Man Egg Platter will be in your comfort zone. You can jump around the menu here if you are more experimental in your brunch adventures. The Cuban with parmesan truffle fries sounds like a winner, and I will try the Belgian Pearl Sugar waffles on one of my visits.
I highly recommend trying one of their flatbreads for lunch, especially if you’re in a group looking to try multiple items. Again, the lunch menu boasts several classics and Boca specialties you will only find here. Salads, Burgers, Seafood, and my favorite option, The Staff Lunch, where the chef chooses whatever is available locally to make you something from his archive of greatness.
